Bromelain
Bromelain was introduced as a therapeutic compound when it was found in high concentrations in pineapple stems. The pineapple plant has been used medicinally in many native cultures due to its sulfhydrylproteolytic enzymes.
Efficacy testing on Bromelain has shown it can promote skin metabolism and have Anti-Aging benefits.
